For more than a century, the oldest Greek letter organization for college-trained African-American women, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, has been in the forefront of providing "SUPREME SERVICE to all MANKIND." Founded on a legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has responded to the world's increasing complexities by empowering communities through our service initiatives and programs.
Delta Delta Omega Chapter, with resolve and dedication, has worked diligently in the East Saint Louis community since 1946 providing service and living the dream of our founders. Alpha Kappa Alpha has paved the way as the guiding example of “sisterhood, scholarship, and service” for 106 years. As we celebrate our legacy, we must remember the traditions and goals that were established by our founders and strive to carry them out with excellence.
Throughout the year, Delta Delta Omega hosts numerous events that benefit the community. We are focused on assisting and educating the community in regards to issues relating to Health, Economic Security, Global Poverty, Social Justice and Leadership Development for young women and girls. We are extremely proud of our legacy of providing academic scholarships for graduating seniors.
