The Women of Delta Delta Omega Chapter
Welcome You!

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated had its humble beginnings as the vision of nine college students on the campus of Howard University in 1908. Since then, the sorority has flourished into a globally-impactful organization of over 290,000 college-trained members, bound by the bonds of sisterhood and empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership that is both domestic and international in its scope.

As Alpha Kappa Alpha has grown, it has maintained its focus in two key arenas: the lifelong personal and professional development of each of its members; and galvanizing its membership into an organization of respected power and influence, consistently at the forefront of effective advocacy and social change that results in equality and equity for all citizens of the world.

Delta Delta Omega Chapter, with resolve and dedication, has worked diligently in the East Saint Louis community since 1946 providing service and living the dream of our founders. Alpha Kappa Alpha has paved the way as the guiding example of “sisterhood, scholarship, and service” for 108 years. As we celebrate our legacy, we must remember the traditions and goals that were established by our founders and strive to carry them out with excellence.

Throughout the year, Delta Delta Omega hosts numerous events that benefit the community. We are focused on assisting and educating the community in regards to Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact. We are extremely proud of our legacy of providing academic scholarships for graduating seniors in our local area.
