On behalf of the DYNAMIC women of Delta Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, we welcome you to our website.  It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as the 41st Chapter President for this group of esteemed, committed, and talented women under the theme of "WE Can... WE Will" continue to serve with excellence!

Since our chartering on May 25, 1946, Delta Delta Omega continues to provide invaluable resources and programs that are beneficial to the East St. Louis community.  We celebrated 75 years in 2021, and we look forward to celebrating more years to come.  

Our chapter is the home of two Former International Officers, the 19th and 24th Central Regional Director and International Secretary, Peggy Lewis-LeCompte, and the 29th Central Regional Director, Kathy Walker Steele, with 227 chapter members who are actively engaged in working with the community to implement our international program, “Soaring to Greater Heights of Sisterhood and Service,” set forth by our  2022-2026 International President, Danette Anthony Reed.  

Delta Delta Omega continues to be a leader in our community by living up to not only the vision of our charter members but also the principles of our founders. We honor them for their legacy and commitment to be “Supreme in Service to all Mankind.” 

Today, as we slowly come out of this horrific COVID-19 health crisis, and ever-increasing racial and economic divide, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Delta Delta Omega Chapter actively seeks ways to assist and be of service to our community, state, nation and all mankind. Let us continue to pray for our nation and our world.
